Elections of community head to be held tomorrow (video)
In 5 communities of Shirak region- Anushavan, Harich, Sarakap, Karmravan and Arpeni, elections of community head will be held on March 15. In the above-mentioned first three communities only the present village heads will take part in the elections. In Arpenik the present village head and his brother, and in Karmravan the current village head Felix Harutyunyan and his cousin Manuk Harutyunyan will participate in the elections. During the elections of local self-government bodies on March 15, 2015 for implementing observation mission, 111 observers from 7 local non-governmental organizations have been accredited in the RA Central Electoral Committee. Some of Karmravan residents claim that the village has been divided into two parts and there will be hot competition between cousins, and the rest of residents claim that there is peaceful atmosphere.
