Cher calls on Turkey
On her Twitter page world famous singer of Armenian descent Cherilyn Sarkisian- Cher, called on the Government of Turkey to recognize the Armenian Genocide. “I am not angry with the Turkish people for what happened 100 years ago, but I think that the Government of Turkey must recognize it,” has written the singer. In another post Cher cited a part from the terrible story her grandmother had told: Turks entered their village, they killed men, raped women and girls.
