Argishti Kiviryan didn’t make a final speech
Verdict on the case of analyst, Armenia Today website’s coordinator Argishti Kiviryan will be announced in an hour. At this moment Arthur Mkrtchyan, Judge at Yerevan Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun Administrative Districts’ Court of General Jurisdiction, is in the conference room. Before that he listened to the participants of the trial. Prosecutor Arthur Yeritsyan noted that this case mustn’t be politicized and assured that no one had given him an order. He says that Kiviryan committed a crime and he must be punished. Kiviryan’s advocate Lusine Sahakyan objected to the prosecutor, “Which prosecutor announces that he has received an order?” Lusine Sahakyan reminded that all these cases will reach the ECHR. Defendant in the case Argishti Kiviryan didn’t make a final speech by noting that he doesn’t consider himself to be a defendant, “Political order is implemented against me and there is no fair trial,” he said. To remind, Argishti Kiviryan is charged with using violence against government representative at Komitas 5 on August 24 of last year.
