Varduhi Varderesyan passes away (video)
Beloved actress Varduhi Varderesyan died at the age of 87. The actress had health problems. Varduhi Varderesyan was born on March19, 1928, in Bucharest, Romania. She repatriated to Armenia in 1946, where she finished the studio of Leninakan Dramatical Theater (now Gyumri, Armenia), then worked in the same theater. Since 1958, she was one of the leading actresses of the Sundukyan Drama Theatre of Yerevan. In 1988, she won the People's Artist of the USSR. In 2002 she was declared an honorary citizen of Yerevan.
