#Electric Yerevan: Iconic imagine in Reuters Pictures of the Year 2015
A photo taken by Armenian photographer Vahram Baghdasaryan during massive protests against the hike in electricity rates dubbed as #ElectricYerevan on social media, has been included in the list of Reuters Pictures of the Year 2015. A few iconic pictures grabbed the public’s attention during the protests on Baghramyan Avenue. The one taken by Vahram Baghdasaryan shows a young protester emerging from the crowd and standing up in anger against the water cannons.
