Drivers recommended to use winter tyres
No precipitation was reported in Armenia as of 09:30am, according to the country’s Ministry of Transport and Communication. However, certain sections of Vanadzor-Alaverdi, Goris-Shurnukh-Kapan roadways and Vardenyats mountain pass are covered in black ice. Snow cleaning continues on the roads. All roads of interstate and republican importance are open to traffic, the Ministry said advising motorists to use winter tyres.
