2.8 earthquake in the RA territory
The Seismic Protection Service of the Republic of Armenia informs that on March 17 a magnitude 2.8 earthquake struck the territory 10 km east of Stepanavan city at 01:02 Yerevan time (21:02 GMT). The geographical coordinates are latitude 40.9800 N and longitude 44.5100 E at a depth of 10 km. The force at the epicenter measured up to 3-4 on the Richter scale. The earthquake was felt also in Stepanavan (3-4 on the Richter scale), Agarak (3-4), Vanadzor (2-3) and Tashir (2-3).
