Lars to be closed in case of rainfalls
Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that all roads and highways in the country were passable as of 07.00 a.m. According to the information received from the Department of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, the Upper Lars highway will be open from 6.00 a.m. till 8.00 p.m. It will be closed again in the evening for security reasons. The highway is open for all kinds of vehicles that will observe the following rules;
- oncoming traffic is prohibited
- traffic must be implemented without stops
- traffic will be prohibited in case of heavy rainfalls
