Results of Gyumri elections surprised Dashnaks (video)
The October 2 elections in several Armenian communities differed from the previous ones as they were competitive in nature. Though the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (Dashnaktsutyun) is not displeased with the outcome, its secretary, Aghvan Vardanyan, says the results of Gyumri elections were a surprise for them. He stresses the role of local and district authorities and interests of different groups in the elections. “In this sense, we have much to ponder about,” he said.
