Group of statues dedicated to Ararat-73 football team unveiled in Yerevan

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan together with the ANOC Chairman Gagik Tsarukyan, Minister of the RA Sports and Youth Affairs Hrachya Rostomyan and members of Ararat-73 football team participated in the ceremony of unveiling the group of statues dedicated to the Champion and Cup winner of the Soviet Union Ararat-73 football team. The honor of unveiling the group of statues perpetuating the glorious victories of Ararat-73 football team was entrusted to legendary football players, and the statue of the winning cup was unveiled by Yerevan Mayor and ANOC Chairman. The author of the group of statues unveiled in the neighborhood of “Hrazdan” stadium is Chief Architect of Yerevan Tigran Barseghyan. Head of the group of sculptors is Armen Samvelyan.
