Earthquake hits Azerbaijan, jolts felt in Stepanakert

A magnitude 4.4 earthquake hit Azerbaijan’s territory on Friday morning. The quake occurred at 10:15 Yerevan time and was also felt in Stepanakert, the capital of the Artsakh Republic where it measured 3 points. The underground jolts at the epicenter measured 5-6 points. The epicenter was 60km northeast of Mingachevir city.
