First book of Artsakh author published

The book, entitled "The Island of the Lovers," the first novel by Artsakh's poet Armen Barkhudaryan, was put on the reader's table. The main topic of the book is love, the great driving force, which sometimes drives a man towards high altitude, or chains him by throwing the sea of sorrow. The book was published by "Edit Print" publishing house. "The source of my inspiration was Gabriel García Márquez's, the internationally renowned Nobel laureate and the novel 'Love in the Time of Cholera' and the novel '100 Years of Solitude.' In 'The Island of the Lovers' book there are scenes, some of which,  have also been seen by the reader of the book," says the author. According to the poet, the book describes love, betrayal, joy, loneliness, longing, grief, disappointment, desire for happiness, desire to live and win, divorce lovers, pleasure of the meeting. The book depicts the image of the girls for whom love is placed on the scale of money and, unfortunately, the money has a heavier weight in their world. There is also an image of girls whose numbers are very few, but their type has not yet disappeared. According to the author, the book is based on the idea that the world would be unhappy, uninteresting without the woman. It should be noted that the book includes more than 100 poems from the author, which he has written for 8 years. Before the book was published, several poems were published in the newspapers of Artsakh.
