GRAND HOLDING SUMMING UP 2003 RESULTS WITH SUCCESS
Support A1+!Well known businessman Hrant Vardanyan thinks that the tax package approved by Parliament is quite normal though it needs to be improved. The shade economy influences negatively on the projects of businessmen and they are discontented with work of custom service, contraband in particular. Goods excising is a positive step. He noted this at the press conference on summarizing Grand Holding 2003 activity.
According to Vardanyan, Grand Holding enterprises fix success in 2003, even the lamp factory, which run without profit. Holding on the whole, including Grand Tobacco, Grand Candy, International Masis Tabak, Grand Sun, entered $ 30 million to the state budget. Vardanyan assures that they are ready to implement business projects in the various districts of Armenia.
As to tobacco producing, under the preliminary agreement famous BIT Company will buy “Samsun” tobacco in 2004 manufactured in Tavush District. What is the reason that Grand Holding output is mainly exported to the eastern countries, USA and Russia? Hrant Vardanyan said it is very difficult to enter the European market because of legal and illegal bans there.
