Armenian Finance Minister Vardan Khachatryan was pleasantly surprised. An American cashier had told him the Armenian model of development had deserved study.

”Development of Armenia has become a model. It’s the export economy”, Minister said during the joint conference with Carlos Pascuale. Mr. Khachatryan stated it was impossible to develop the economy otherwise at such speed.

During the negotiations on getting $ 3,5 billion envisaged for 16 states Minister managed to persuade Carlos Pascuale not to make the issue of Armenian energy cooperation the topic for discussion. Vardan Khachatryan informed Government knew for what projects those sums would be spent.
