Support A1+!Two members of the Economical Competition Defense Committee represented today the situation in the glass and black metal market imported into the country. The most notable expression in the report was the following, “Taking into account that the metals are used mainly in construction, and the quantities of import are enlarged, we can say that there has been a growth of construction and reconstruction in the country”.
There is also information in the report about the competitive relations of the companies. One of the companies importing black metals named “Metex” is predominant in the field, that is – imports 39.83% of the total sum. Other predominant companies are, for example, “Gapex” LTD and “Shinarar” company, which import more than 70% of glass.
Glass is imported mainly from Iran and Russia, and black metal – from Ukraine, Russia and other places. The reporter did not have any information whether it is imported from Turkey or not. But almost all the sellers of the shops answer the questions about the “homeland” of the imported black metal “It is from Turkey”.
Hrayr Aramyan, member of the Committee, expressed confidence that the dominating companied do not take advantage over others due to their position. At least, there are no complaints from the other companies.
