JAPANESE INTERESTED IN ARMENIAN GARBAGE

At present Japan carries on negotiations with Armenia to get an opportunity of using the biomass of the country. In case of using it in a right way it will be possible to get an additional source of energy. As a part of energetic resources of Armenia, biomass is a substantial portion. Besides garbage, energetic resources of Armenia include water, wind, the interior, and sun energy.

Taking into consideration the power of all the resources Armenia has today possible power of 3500 megawatt. Possibility of non-explotable bloc of nuclear power plant is included. At present Armenia uses only 30% of general possibilities.

Trying to make use of all the means, the committee on regulation of public services gave licenses for exploitation of 60 small and medium thermoelectricity station. Part of them has already been built, another part is in the process of construction or projection.
