Trees are being cut down in Yerevan just before residents’ very eyes. It’s going on in increasingly pitiless ways.

If trees are cut at once it prompts fuss, condemnation and problems. So, owners of the new building to be erected in Myasnikyan Avenue, invented a sophisticated way to cut trees. Understanding that nobody can condemn cutting already dry trees, and, moreover, will consider it necessary, they strip poplars of their bark, hurting hollows badly. It’s natural that trees can’t survive and are doomed to dying. And remarkable is that the “surgical operation” was carried out only from garden side while from street noting is visible.

Perpetrators of such a barbarous act are now waiting for favorable weather to continue building works.
