WHETHER THE MOST OF ARMENIAN CITIZENS ARE INDIFFERENT TO NAGORNO-KARABAKH PROBLEM?
Support A1+!5 of Azerbaijan population support an idea of Karabakh independence and self-determination. Though Azerbaijan says this figure equivalent to the number of Armenians living in Azerbaijan. The same poll shows 70 of Armenian citizens are convinced that cooperation with Azerbaijan is impossible. Azeri citizens stack to the same view, but applying to Armenians, comprise 84,5 of the respondents of the surveys, conducted in Caucasus three regions, find Karabakhi conflict problem is closer to solution than other problems of the region.
Ashot Melikyan noticed that the conceptions of enemies and allies in the region are absolutely different. Georgia and Azerbaijan favorite international structure is NATO and they both lean toward Turkey while Armenians have no expectations from any of 4 neighboring countries neither in the field of Karabakh conflict settlement nor for improvement in further relationship.
