Vardan Petrosyan, the Chair of Union for "Armenian House" as well as the Editor-in-Chief of "Hayots Tun" / "Armenian House" / was taken into custody by police. As the information we have says, early in the morning police officers burst in Petrosyan's flat and beat him . After they took him to the police department. Vardan Petrosyan left the department with investigator Ashot Hakobyan after having been examined by the investigators of Arabkir Police Department.

Vardan Petrosyan is the first to declare he suspects Robert Kocharyan and Serj Sargsyan for masterminding October the 27-th terrorism action . He even brought an action against them because they had failed to avert October the 27-th terrorism action and danger impending security of Armenia.

The Union is not engaged in serious activity, but publishes a newspaper out of favour by the Authorities. By the preliminary information we have, this incident is bound up namely with the activity of the newspaper.
