On October 27-th, 1999, Gasparyan heard Karen Demirchyan's voice after the terrorists had burst in the Parliament Hall: "Boys! Problems are not solved that way!" ,- Demirchyan had said.

Melik Gasparyan says the terrorism action was directed against the nation and state system and we damaged our prestige in the eyes of the world .
