OCTOBER 27 TERRORIST ACTION TRIAL CONTINUES

National Assembly members Napoleon Azizyan and Sasun Sargsyan testified today at the October 27 terrorist action trial. Napoleon Azizyan says he has been in the session room for only 15 minutes at that tragic day. Upon coming out he heard a shot for intimidation, as he thought then. Assassination of Vazgen Sargsyan Karen Demirchyan and Yuri Bakhshyan is deliberate action, the MP says.

Then Azizyan told the court a story he has heard from one of MPs. According to the story, one of the terrorists came from the session room, fired at Armenakyan, who was in Red foyer at that time, and came away. Returning to the Armenakyan, murderer saw he was still alive. Then he swore loudly and shot again.

Unother witness on the October 27 case, Sasun Sargsyan, confirmed the story told by his colleague. In his opinion, the October 27 terrorist action was a coup attempt.
