ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS WILL BE OVER IN 5 DAYS

Entrance examinations in 12 subjects are over. More than 22.500 university entrants have passed their exams.

Those passing their exams by the sophisticated version in English received the highest marks . If compared, results of written and oral exams in Spanish are much higher. None of those 20 received unsatisfactory.

Unsatisfactories are in Mathematics mainly .

108 out of 384 university entrants taking their exam in Armenian language and Armenian literature received unsatisfactory. According to Spartak Sayranyan, the Press Executive for Republican Selection Committee majority of the entrants are poor at Armenian language : "Those having received the highest mark /20/ in written exam in Armenian couldn't even analize the sentence when oral one" ,- he says.

The exam in "Creative Contest" is over, too. This exam is passed by the university entrants for journalism faculty. None of would-be journalists received 20 . Compositions of 25 out of 160 received unsatisfactory and the majority won 12 - 15.

The prevailing marks in all subjecs are 18 and those lower 8.
