MPs OBSTRUCTING JUSTICE

Court session on the October 27 terrorist action case failed today because of the absence of the victims in court. MPs Ruben Gevorkyan, Samvel Avetisyan, Misak Mkrtchyan and Vram Gyurzadyan had to testify at today hearing. None of them find time to fulfil their duty.

Karen Demirchyan heir’s attorney, Ashot Sargsyan, claimed “the court ought to take measures to bring the victims to testify at the trial as they were witnesses of the crime”. In fact, the lawyer made a plea to the judge to bring the witnesses to court compulsorily. Ashot Srgsyan is expected to file the motion to the court tomorrow.
