CONSUMERS CONTINUE BATTLE

Social

“Consumers Versus Tyranny” trial, presided by new judge Ruben Nersisyan, is to begin on August 13 at the first instance court of Nork-Marash Yerevan’s district. Previous judge was suspended from presiding on plaintiffs’ motion.

Comsumers’ representative Ashot Bleyan is convinced that the claim to announce the decision of the National Commission on Radio and Television can’t be declined without law violation. A new suit is filed to the same court with the claim to retrieve the situation, which was before consumers’ rights violation. Besides the Commission, A1+ and Noyan Tapan founders - Meltex Ltd. and Noyan Tapan - as well as Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Transport and Communication are mentioned in the suit as defendants. The plaintiff demands to oblige the TV companies to fulfil their commitments toward consumers and resume broadcasting.
