THE END OF AN ENDLESS TRIAL
Support A1+! "Consumers of "A1+" and "Noyan Tapan" TV Companies against TV and Radio National Commission " trial came to its end after having been protracted for 4 months .
The first judge for the trial was changed. Later Ruben Nersisyan, the second judge presiding over the trial has been rejected for 3 times on impartiality doubts by the complainants. But the challenges had been declined by the Chair of the First Instance Court of Kentron, Nork-Marash Communes.
But Judge Ruben Nersisyan found a smart way to get rid of the trial which as he thought to be simple but a really compound one.
When appealing to the Court the complainants demanded for a "speeded up investigation" of the case. But that petition has never been mentioned at any of 4-month-long court sessions. Judge Ruben Nersisyan announced today within the Armenian Law on "Civil Proceedings" the Court goes over to a "speeded up investigation" under its right possessed and goes to a separate room to make a decision on the case .
Before reading out the decision and leaving the Court Hall quickly, he hadn't even tried to make more accurate the attitude of each of the sides to the decision. Participants of the session divined what the court decision would be as they had been aware judge's "policy" - to leave the Court Hall for an unlimited time for a break or making a decision , thus making participants wait, neglecting and hurting them. So they decided to leave as a protest display and not wait for the him.
However, the consumers of "A1+" and "Noyan Tapan" TV Companies don't give up. They are on the point of taking new steps to restore their right to see their favourite TV channels broadcasting .
