She stressed all the 68 cases of rape ended with marriage . Number of rapes in the first half of this year is only 19. Sociologist Mihran Galstyan is surprised at the fact 57 37 of men think the physical violence to be a preventive method .

As MP Alvard Petrosyan says Armenian family is a closed and conservative system and an Armenian man will never forgive a woman appealed to the Court . According to the ARU’ Central Department member, an Armenian woman can’t make the violence against her an issue of social discussion and she has to keep silent. Petrosyan thinks having no money has become aggressive and needs workplace first of all .
