WHY EVERYTHING IS SO BAD?

Social

Today Armenia marks its independence 11th anniversary. It means the generation of independence exists in the republic. It means mothers have something to told their children about life before independence. It also means sons have to strengthen their fathers’ achievements.

But fathers treat independence different ways. They have been studying for free and living conditions have been far better. Grandfathers also tell their grandchildren about social security and material wealth.

And what new generation see? Privatisation that it doesn’t care about. Political fuss is not interesting to the youth. Young people see desperately disappointed faces of their parents.

They aren’t able to estimate so-called achievements such as Constitution, army or statehood, as they haven’t seen their parents’ life before Armenia obtained its independence.

Each of year’s 365 days a child looks at his parents’ joyless eyes and thinks: “Why everything is so bad?”
