RED CROSS AND RED CRESCENT AGAINST AIDS
Support A1+!"We assembled here to help people" ,- today the representatives of 26 national associations of the Red Cross and the Red Crescent assured. They will discuss the strategy of AIDS prevention from September 23-25.
This year the 6th conference of the European Network of Red Cross and Red Crescent for AIDS prevention will take place in Yerevan. 27 national associations of Central Asia, Western and Central Europe are the members of this organization founded 4 years ago. Armenian Red Cross association has been the member of the network since 2000.
The conference participants discussed their work regulations. According to the participants, those suffering from AIDS " themselves must first understand what they want before being morally supported ". Reports on the AIDS bearers will be introduced at tomorrow's conference. It was made public AIDS growth of 426 % was registered in the Eastern Europe within 5 past years. 40 million people suffer from AIDS in the whole world at present .
