Members of “Liberated Territories Defence”, academician Rafayel Ghazaryan, people’s painter Sargiss Muradyan released a statement on January 13 which particularly says:

“Sincerely condoling with Tigran Naghdalyan’s relatives on his loss, we can’t help expressing our anxiety over the arrests that followed Tigran’s murder. The matter is that only the volunteers of Artsakh liberation struggle, having opposed against the statements regarding return of the liberated territories or Meghri, made by some officials, were mainly arrested .

Any version to connect them with Naghdalyan’s murder is of no logic. Like the relatives of October 27 victims, they wish to disclose the real masterminds of Vazgen Sargssyan’s murder , too. And Naghdalyan was one of the most important witnesses who could set afoot the endless trial” .

“Willy-nilly we come to the conclusion that Authorities, taking advantage of that, tried to put pressure on namely the national part of Opposition, thus pursuing 2 objects - first to split the powers, protecting Artsakh integrity and then to put the candidates for presidency from Opposition in a difficult state ” .

Though the investigation bodies released the majority as expected, we protest against display of such conduct by Authorities in the future and call them to get occupied with crushing of criminal atmosphere and clannish system which give rise to numerous non-covered murders” .
