INTERNATIONAL COURSES ON HUMAN RIGHTS IN GEORGIA
Support A1+!Human Rights Coverage Centre /Georgia/ in association with Armenian Constitutional and Rights Defence Centre /Armenia/ and Defence Bureau of Human Rights and Legislation /Azerbaijan/ by support of European Youth Fund / Strasbourg, France/ arranges courses for young lawyers of Caucasus in Borjomi-Likani /Georgia/ from February 16-21, 2003.
28 students of Departments of Law and International Right of universities of Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan take part in it.
The participants will become aware of fundamental tenets of human rights, the international documents on that area, the national and international systems of human rights defence, training methods of human rights.
24 students and lawyers from Armenian part had applied for taking part in the courses. As a result of interviews, 4 students of Law Department of Yerevan State University, 3 ones from Department of Law of “Mkhitar Gosh” Armenian-Russian International University,1student from American University of Armenia and 2 of Law Department of Vanadzor branch of Moscow Commerce and Right University were given the right to take part in the international courses.
