CROWDED MEETING IN YEREVAN

As the organisers evaluate, about 200.000 people took part in the meeting nearby Matenadaran. The chain of the participants stretched to Moskovyan Street. Aram Sargssyan, R. Avagyan, Sh. Kocharyan, A. Bazeyan, G. Harutyunyan and others made speeches.
About 4: 00 PM the representatives of Armavir and Echmiadzin joined the meeting. As the organisers said, Authorities had hampered them from arriving to Yerevan.
The mainly voiced standpoint was that Stepan Demirchyan is the one to win in the elections. Suggestions regarding the second round were met through whistles. It was stated that February 22 is the time for announcing the final results and a new meeting will be held on Sunday to be done everything possible to declare Stepan Demirchyan as the president of the country.
Later the participators moved to the General Office of Public Prosecutor to put a claim on election breaches. Then they took a direction to the Government Hall and demanded PM for reception to provide normal activity of Executive Power and punish the Ministers who spread illegal activity during the elections - A. Manukyan, H. Abrahamyan, V. Ayvazyan.
The people entered Government Hall, turned back as it was announced PM was out. From Republic Square the protestors moved to the territory, nearby Opera, gathered at the pre-election headquarters for Aram Sargssyan. He thanked the participants and reminded they will meet on Sunday at 2: 00 PM.
