THERE WILL BE NO SURPRISES FOR THE UNIVERSITY ENTRANTS
Support A1+!Ministry of Education and Science assures this. This year’ rules of entrance were somehow changed and they haven’t yet been approved by Government.
There are new professions among the examinations this year, such as “Actual Mathematics”, “Agribusiness and Marketing”, “Agrarian Policy and Regional Development” etc.
Changes regarding medallists are envisaged among the rules. A separate competition will be conducted for the entrants for gratis education this year . Medal winners will pass an exam, set by an institute of higher education.
10 % are envisaged for medallists in free of charge system. The regulations on children without parental care were amended, too. They will enter colleges through the common contest and the gratis system if gaining pass points for paid system of education.
Before MES provided University entering for double-sided orphans only by positive points /not less than 8 and above up to 20/. But not being regulated and valid, it was left out from 1999’ entering process. In words of Gurgen Gasparyan, Head of Vocational Training Department of MES, this year an appropriate Law was approved. But there is a difference there. Those entrants will be allowed to study in the gratis system only if gaining points passable for contest on paid system of education and not if gaining just positive points.
Gurgen Gasparyan assured there will be no other changes on entrance rules.
