ARMENIAN COMMUNITY IN IRAQ ASKING HELP

Social

Ayb-Fe news agency received today an interesting message from Sepuh, a representative of Armenian community in Iraq, where he is voicing alarm at growing threat of imminent war and asking help for Iraqi Armenians.

“War is coming up. We fear to lose our shelter and our families. Who will protect us? The desperate situation we face now is aggravated by the fact that our leader Holy Father Avag fled the country. They say he has gone to the U.S. and will be back after war is over. Shepherd shouldn’t leave his herd amid danger. Where is Armenian Apostolic Church leader Garegin the Second? Why he didn’t force our leader to stay with us? Mother Church should take care of us. Our diocese archbishop is now in Armenia. Whole community remained neglected. Help us!”, the message says.
