Support A1+!The rally arranged by Opposition took place at Matenadaran today. Despite the heavy rain, a few thousands of people gathered there.
Opposition leaders – Albert Bazeyan, Aram Karapetyan made speeches.
Aram Karapetyan said in particular: “We provided CEC decision behind barbed wires. We don’t advise Constitutional Court to make an anti-popular verdict because we can do so as they themselves make decisions behind wires” .
Communist Khoren Sargssyan decided to swore to the people as they won: “What’s the difference? I’m not an elected president. Kocharyan is neither an elected one. Today I must take the lead over him and to vow” .
During the speech by Aram Sargssyan Stepan Demirchyan arrived to Matenadarn. People welcomed him.
But when Demirchyan was going to make his speech, electricity supply in the territory of Matenadaran was disconnected, and Demirchyan couldn’t address to the people.
At the end of the meeting the participants decided to see the MPs present to the Hall of Government’ Sessions. Conflict between people and policemen occurred.
Policemen beat an old man, women, 10-year-old girl, a war veteran, MPs and political figures with rubber truncheons .
