“WE EXPECT FOR A HUMANITARIAN APPROACH”

Azeri Authorities aim to pass a way across the cemetery and the issue over remains transfer arose. It was stated contact with Baku Mayor was set and a little Armenian group is expected to be able to visit the cemetery.
“We think a normal solution within wishes of relatives of the deceased is to be made and we expect for a humanitarian approach” , Larissa Alaverdyan said.
She also said the issue must not be politicised though the paces for making that decision and its implementation are politicised.
“The organisations for defence of human rights and some individuals in Azerbaijan as well voiced protest and we hope the issue is not lost” , Mrs Alaverdyan concluded.
