YEREVAN MUNICIPALITY PREPARING FOR WINTER

Armenian capital’s municipality has already embarked on works aimed at preparation for coming winter. “Apartment buildings in Yerevan’s Shengavit and Erebuni districts will be heated by power plant. Other districts’ authorities will be making decisions at their discretion”, Vice Mayor Vano Vardanyan said at today’s news conference.

In his words, there are consumers’ debts accumulated for past years. To stop their accumulation the municipality decided to make contracts with consumers this year.

“Those wanting to be provided with heating will have to pay for that beforehand”, Vardanyan said.
