AVET DEMURYAN: EVERY JOURNALIST MUST UPGRADE HIS SKILL
Support A1+!Presentation of a new book written by journalist Avet Demuryan took place in Armenian Journalists Union House on Wednesday.
The book is intended for those who want to be trained in journalism. Trying to avoid magisterial manner and didactic way of explaining, the author shows in his book how overseas journalists work.
What about domestic journalism, Demuryan thinks after declaration of independence in Armenia, journalism in the republic has slipped to lower level, and the number of professional journalists dwindled.
Nowadays, young journalists think their supremacy can’t be disputed while shocked professionals don’t know how to react to their megalomania, Demuryan says.
The author is convinced that even very talented journalists must constantly learn to upgrade their skill and make it fit to contemporary standards.
