“THE SARGSSYANS NEEDED NAGHDALYAN”
Support A1+!The defendants and their advocates appeared with their defense speeches during the trial on Tigran Naghdalyan’s murder case. Armen Sargssyan’s advocate Amalia Avagyan introducing the facts, which hadn’t been checked in the First Instance and Review Courts, announced that Sargssyan’s guilt wasn’t proved, so solicited the Court to acquit her client and to release him from the Court hall.
She announced that talking about the motives Armen Sargssyan had repeated for many times that he had no reason to order for Tigran Naghdalyan’s murder especially at the times of October 27 trial. ”The Sargssyans had expectations from Naghdalyan”, Mrs Avagyan said.
The speech of the defense for Gegham Shahbazyan, who had acted as a mediator between the criminal band and the customer was quite noteworthy. It said that the First Instance Court had set Shahbazyan 12 years in prison whereas Hovhanness Harutyunyan /Aper/, the mastermind was sentenced to 7 years in jail.
Felix Arustamyan’s attorney Zaruhi Postanjyan petitioned the Court to release her client from the Court hall since he didn’t abet the crime and had thrice refused to commit murder.
The prosecution announced that the accusation is grounded and all the arguments of the defense are baseless.
It is to state that all the defendants announced in the Review Court that Hovhanness Harutyunyan and not Armen Sargssyan is the murder organizer. But Court didn’t call Hovhanness Harutyunyan.
The prosecution demanded to leave the punishment for all the defendants the same, except for Grigor Petrosyan and to reduce his 7-year-long imprisonment to 5.
