HUNGER STRIKE CONTINUES

14 of 45 inmates serving their life terms in Nubarashen jail, who are now on hunger strike demanding a meeting with the head of OSCE Yerevan office Vladimir Pryakhin and the CE representative in Armenia Natalia Vutova, ceased it because of deteriorating health state.

As it became known from Justice Ministry, the above mentioned officials have expressed readiness to visit the prisoners but none of them appeared in jail so far. According to the same source, the hunger strike will continue until physicians make decision on compulsory feeding of prisoners, as their lives are under threat.
