ARMENIAN GOVERNMENT CAN’T ALLOCATE MEANS FOR WEATHER FORECAST RESOURCES
Support A1+!In Armenia, weather forecast system is the most low-payed among others, the head of Armenian Weather Forecast State Agency Levon Vardanyan said at Monday’s news conference.
He said soared temperature caused recent flood in Armenia’s provinces and the agency warned about likely disaster.
In his opinion, Armenian emergency workers operated perfectly though they run into difficulties created by local governing bodies’ bad workmanship.
Vardanyan said the agency couldn’t afford to carry out some works to forecast possible danger because of lack of necessary means.
