Support A1+!Justice Minister David Harutyunyan is intended to revise the order for election and nomination of judges, which will enable to make the procedure more transparent and to avoid more shortcomings.
Independence of judges is prior, too. Minister noticed though everything possible is done to provide independence of judges, the results are not obvious.
David Harutyunyan also found that judges sometimes undertake obligations, which bear no relation with justice administration.
So Justice Ministry aims to work out an experimental program for 3 courts by the end of 2004. During implementation of it the apparatus will carry out all the obligations of a judge not concerned with justice rendering.
David Harutyunyan also informed that it is planned to establish a new center where people aspiring to judge posts will study.
