MARCH IN MEMORY OF 1915 VICTIMS
Support A1+!Opposition has today held a march to Tsitsernakaberd from Freedom Square to pay homage to the victims of 1915 Genocide.
Before marching Albert Bazeyan, member of “Republic” Party political board addressed to people in the Freedom Square. He stated the action wasn’t of a political purpose. He said they just want to prove to the world that all the countries must condemn the Genocide of Armenians in 1915 to prevent such crimes in the future. Mr Bazeyan said to achieve this out state is to be solid and power must be returned to people.
Academician Rafael Ghazaryan made a speech. He informed our compatriots will hold a meeting near Armenian Consulate in Los Angeles against the “White Genocide” continuing now.
After making speeches the march participants moved to Genocide Monument along Baghramyan Avenue and laid wreaths on the memorial.
Opposition leaders except Artashes Geghamyan were present.
