GUN ALONE IS NOT ENOUGH
Support A1+!Robert Nazaryan, Chairman of National Bodyguards’ Association of Armenia, appraises as ample the professional level of Armenia’s bodyguards. He assures there are still shortcomings in the system and to reach the international standards it is first necessary to raise the mental capacities of the bodyguards.
During today’s conference in Journalists’ House Mr. Nazaryan introduced the results of the professional audit of Armenia’s bodyguards conducted within “WBGL Caucasus Tour” from September 4-7 in Yerevan.
Audit was carried out in 5 stages. WBGL Caucasus’, Gyumri and Yerevan’s VIP bodyguards were among the participants.
Yerevan Bodyguards School held the first place. Dmitri Fonaryov, Chairman of National Bodyguards’ Association of Russia is sure the professional level of Armenia’s bodyguards is not yet satisfactory despite the positive results. “A few bodyguards of Armenia showed index lower than one bodyguard of Russia”, he said. He was present for the measure.
He thinks only a gun is not enough to be a bodyguard. He says vigilant and wise approach in any case is obligatory.
By the way, Dmitri Fonaryov used to head the presidential guard of Mikhail Gorbachev.
