Support A1+!The people charged for criminal or military crimes will now be able to be tried in a most modern court. Today in the Shengavit community the new building of the RA Criminal and Military Court of Appeal was presented. The Building has 23 courtrooms and 6 isolated rooms for the temporary stay of the accused.
«The building is equipped with all the measures necessary for an efficient trial», said David Haroutyunyan, RA Minister of Justice. «In these conditions you yourself will want to be tried», said one of the Judges to another.
The World Bank has spent about 2 million dollars for the reconstruction, furnishing, control system and heating system of the building. Roby Robinson, Head of the WB Yerevan office, said that this building is the largest one in Armenia reconstructed by the WB. He also informed that 14 more buildings will be reconstructed or built.
