U.S. SECRET SERVICE AGENT TELLS ABOUT HIS EXPERIENCE
Support A1+!«U.S. Secret Service Agent, and counterfeit detection expert, Kevin Bodden, is currently conducting training seminars in Yerevan», tells the UA Embassy to Armenia.
The seminars with the representatives of the Armenian law enforcement community and the banking and business sector on the latest techniques and technologies used to detect counterfeit U.S. dollars.
"Counterfeiting is a crime that can have grave economic consequences. I am glad to be working with the Armenian authorities and business community on this important issue," Agent Bodden said, "Criminals are getting more and more sophisticated in this area, but, with proper training, their efforts can be defeated", mentioned Bodden.
The U.S. Secret Service has also granted equipment to help with Armenia's anti-counterfeiting effort. Yesterday, Agent Bodden presented Armenia's National Security Service with a digital camera and a high-powered microscope. He also donated two digital cameras to the Interpol Office in Yerevan.
