Support A1+!“Health is a very expensive pleasure and I think that people like my colleague micro-surgeon Artavazd Sahakyan should receive a salary amounting in $10 000- 15 000,” head physician of the clinic hospital of the Yerevan State Medical University Hayk Petrosyan says.
The highest salary of a doctor in the hospital makes 36 000 AMD. As compared to the last year the sum has increased. According to Petrosyan, some extra payments may be given in December.
Today a visit to the hospital was organized within the framework of the UNDP and the joint governmental program “Assistance to the civic society in anti-corruption initiatives”. The visit had the purpose to find out the control of corruption risks in the health sphere.
As advisor to the minister of health Ruslana Gevorgyan said, till the end of the year 401 million AMD will be provided to the sphere, 163 million of them to the children’s hospital.
“Assistance to the civic society in anti-corruption initiatives” program was elaborated and ratified by the council on the struggle against corruption at the RA Prime Minister .
9 groups including about 90 people wee formed in 9 regions of the republic.
