Social

Today the RA Court of Cassation was to hear the case of Hovel Manandyan against the RA Social security state fund Vanadzor regional center. The two sides were present, but according to the complainant the session was postponed without any ground.

The complainant has not received his old-age pension because of not having a social card. According to his advocate Arayik Papinyan, «The case has been in court for the last five months, but it was fixed for today only. We received the subpoena yesterday only, and we had not time to prepare for the hearing».

But the postponing is already a usual thing for the complainant as it was repeated in the RA Court of Appeal.

By the way, 18 cases about the old-age pension have been rejected in the Vanadzor Court of first instance. 13 cases of been brought to the Court of Appeal 6 of which have been heard. Two of them are now at the Court of Cassation. Manandyan’s case was the first to be heard here.
