MAYOR DOES NOT HEAR THE VOICE OF THE PEOPLE
Support A1+!Today, like every Monday, the people gathered opposite the Yerevan municipality to make the Yerevan mayor Yervand Zakharyan hear their voice of complaint. Let us remind you that they demand the municipality to compensate for the areas taken away from them. Nevertheless, those sitting in the municipality fail to hear their voice for months.
While the participants of the meeting expressed their complaints opposite the building, inside it the municipality Education and Science administration head Onik Vatyan represented his report about the work done in the educational field. «The main problem for the administration is the quality of education», he said mentioning that the municipality is realizing a one-year program investigating the knowledge of the pupils about separate subjects.
The head of the administration also mentioned that the new allotments of the state budget give them the possibility to reconstruct the heating systems of the schools. According to him, about 23 local heating systems have been given out to exploitation. So, this year about 43 schools will be heated by the system.
The head of the administration confesses that the sum is not enough to provide heating for all the school in the republic.
