THE ONLY HOPE OF ARTSAKH IS THE FUND «ARMENIA»
Support A1+!According to the All-Armenian Fund «Armenia» Karabakh must not lack behind Armenia when it comes to economic development. «It can result in demographic problems», the head of the Fund Naira Melkoumyan says. Today she rendered a press conference where she gave a report about the results of the latest Telethon.
The marathon organized by the Fund aimed at granting financial aid to the Martakert region of Artsakh within the framework of the program «Artsakh Renaissance». 7 million 770 thousand USD was gathered. Part of the sum, according to the head of the Fund, with solve the problem of schools and health institutions in Martakert, and another part will be allotted to the solution of the drinking water problem. Nevertheless, the chief concern of the Martakert region is the development of agriculture. The field will be financed by the fund too.
It is noteworthy that the Fund has a circulation of 22 million USD. 2/3 of it is meant for Artsakh, and 1/3 – for Armenia.
