COMMANDO RE-ELECTED

In the 9th Conference of the RA Defense Sport-technical non-governmental Organization the 21 members of the central council of the Organization re-elected their President Major-General Arkadi Ter-Tadevosyan, the famous Commando.
Mr. Ter-Tadevosyan has been presiding over the organization since 2001. In 2001 he announced that he replaces weapon with a spade. As usual, Mr. Ter-Tadevosyan is «remembered» in connection with the Shushi liberation on May 9, and during pre-election periods several political powers try to use his fame. But the General not only kept his promise, but also refrained from participating in any political intrigues.
Today the Organization is the larges NGO of the Republic. It has 49 branches, 650 departments and 69 thousand members. For the last two years 30 thousand specialists have been trained in the Organization, 4550 of which for the RA Army.
By the way, the Organization re-elected not only their President, but also the three deputy President – Ashot Khachatryan, Grigor Siravakyan, and Edik Hakobyan. Arkadi Ter-Tadevosyan claimed that in future the Defense Sport-technical non-governmental Organization will do everything to contribute to the enhancing of the defense power of the country.
